The idea of Zuri Beauty Essentials was born in 2021. It was a discussion between mother and daughter who are keen on natural, organic skincare products. The mother and daughter are Maureen and Zuri respectively.

Over time, Zuri had developed interest in beauty and would tell many stories about what she found out after her research. She was able to identify safe and unsafe ingredients in skincare and haircare products. At the shops, she would read the ingredients carefully before selecting the products we should purchase. 

It’s this passion that led to an idea of starting our own line of beauty products that we can trust. We are not big on cosmetics, we prefer maintaining natural glass skin. It takes an effort to acquire this, and one of the challenges is, ensuring that you are using the right products.

After extensive research, it was clear that we would like to address the gap of using harmful skincare and haircare
products and replace them with safe and affordable products. Some of our initial products contain active ingredients that we have used with success.

Our online shop starts operation in January 2023. With time, we look forward to introducing a wide variety of skincare, haircare, mens’ grooming, and personal care products that will be ideal for all age groups. We also aspire to introduce products that are ideal for salons and spas. Our commitment is to continually improve on our formulations, to ensure that every Kenyan can afford safe products at a reasonable price. Let us walk this journey together!
